This is a photo of an original painting by Fort Walton Beach, Florida artist Steve Burrows (1965-2018) - He was gracious enough to allow me to photograph this painting and racially change the colors for dramatic effect.
I purposely utilize the most basic software possible to create my works – I use the freeware that came with my Canon camera – I have developed a style that does not need more powerful software – My technique renders a fresher look as nothing in the photo is altered – Only the colors are enhanced for aesthetic excitement..
Larry Beat hails from Toledo, Ohio but has called the Emerald Coast Florida his home for 30 years. A 20-year Air Force veteran, he worked for the City of Destin for 13 years in Planning and served as the City's photographer. His photos have been published in The Destin Log and the NW Florida Daily News. He also photographs for the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce. His photos have been featured in the annual Mattie Kelly Environmental Institute's calendar.
