Artist's Description

This is an enhanced photo of a decorative brass statuette in a boutique. The real King Scorpion ruled ancient Egypt in 3,200 century BCE

I only use the simple freeware that came with my Canon camera to manipulate the color, contrast and saturation. I do not use Photoshop or any other powerful software. Nothing in the photo has been altered. It looks exactly as I took it. Except of course the colors have been enhanced for artistic excitement.

A 20-year Air Force veteran, he worked for the City of Destin for 13 years in Planning and served as the City's photographer. His photos have been published in The Destin Log and the NW Florida Daily News. He also photographs for the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce. His photos have been featured in the annual Mattie Kelly Environmental Institute's calendar.
